HIDDEN SIDE EFFECTS TO OBAMA’S OVERTIME RULES?
1. Put yourself in the mindset of an employee. Should government assure that you're getting paid a certain amount for extra work? Why or why not? Then put yourself in the mindset of a business owner and ask the same question. Is your answer the same as above? Why or why not?
2. Can you think of an alternative to these government regulations? What would give employers incentives to reward their employees for working hard? Do any incentives already exist? If so, what?
