classroom videos by television producers who create and distribute programs that spark curiosity and lively
classroom discussions.
Education World® posts various links to national standards in social studies, U.S. history, and civics. The site offers various activities that integrate current events into the study of these subjects.
Economics
The Foundation for Teaching Economics
Lesson plans, seminars, and classroom support for teachers.
Their popular "Hot Topics" emails offer lesson plans that focus on the economics imbedded in current events.

StudyBuddy is an online resource to help students get a broader understanding of
the concepts of political and economic freedom developed in cooperation with the Stossel in the Classroom project to
provide in-depth background for the concepts presented in the Stossel videos. They are currently soliciting student
feedback in order to develop and improve the site.
Knowledge Delivery Systems
Knowledge Delivery Systems is an award-winning professional development provider to states, districts, schools,
individual teachers, and educational organizations across the country. The KDS Classroom is an e-learning
platform with on-demand online content, including streaming video and synchronized PowerPoint slideshows.
EconomicsAmerica® offers a list and description of each
national voluntary standard in economics. Online lessons for each standard and all concepts are offered.
Common Sense Economics web site includes instructor resources,
student resources, including links to some economics activities and comics.
High School Economics Topics,
with definitions and articles.
The Library of Economics and Liberty offers resources for students, teachers,
researchers, and aficionados of economic thought.
National Council on Economic Education: EconomicsAmerica®
includes economics lessons that relate directly to state standards.
Foundation for Economic Education's web site has an online library, a searchable
index of past articles from its monthly journal, and information on seminars for students and teachers.

Shocking Economics demonstrates the size and
power of the American economy.

teaches the basics of economics and provides an idea for a project for economics classes. The site also offers

Law
National Paralegal College has posted the syllabus, coursework, recordings of lectures, etc. for a course called "Constitutional Law & Criminal Procedure."
U. S. History and Government
The Center for Civic Education posts the national
standards for civics and government, as well as programs for teachers and students, such as "We the People: The
Citizen and the Constitution"

explores some of the great issues and controversies surrounding the U.S. Constitution.
Shmoop is a new learning and teaching resource from experts and educators from Stanford, Harvard, Berkeley, and other top universities. Shmoop offers study guides and teacher resources for U.S. History and Civil War, along with more than 370 smart, fun learning guides for literature and poetry (see links in next category).
The U.S. Courts educational outreach web site provides a
wealth of information about the role of the federal courts and the Constitution.

Access Excellence is a national educational program that provides health, biology and life science teachers access to their colleagues, scientists, and critical sources of new scientific information via the Internet. It is affiliated with the National Health Museum.

The Singing Revolution is a
